I dont know you guys - but someone close to you mentioned your story to pray for you. And I just wanted to tell you that I am humbled and amazed by your faith, I feel strengthened in my own - to rely fully and entirely upon the Lord, even when we hurt deeply, even when we lose, even when we grieve, and even when we dont understand.

I pray God that you would heal and bless your two servants here, that you would engrain Addie's memory in their hearts forever, that you would bless them with physical children in their days to come, and that you would unite them as a strong front and force for your kingdom-advancing work. Even in this Lord, I praise you with them.

I don't know you guys either, but found a link to your blog and a prayer request at Jamie's blog. I hope it's okay that I'm leaving a comment. (((hugs)))

I just wanted to say first of all that my words don't seem adequate. I am SO sorry for your loss.

Also, while it's so nice to see your thankful list, I just wanted to gently say that it's okay to write if you're confused, angry or hurt. God is big enough for the negative emotions too. I hope you know what I mean... I just get a sad feeling in my gut as I read everyone telling you guys what a great example of faith you are because you are positive, and I wanted to send a huge hug, and say that I have NO idea of how terribly you're hurting, and that even if you were to say you were hurt, or mad or confused... that you would STILL be a great example of faith.

Addie really is beautiful! I'll be praying for you guys, and sending my love to you, even though you don't know me. :)

Love,
Emily

So as you two have demonstrated numerous times with the hand illustration..i've been meditating on a verse lately. 2 Chron. 20:17. I just wanted to share that and remind you I really am here for you if there is anything I can do. I love you all very much and thank you again for the powerful example of Christ's goodness you have been to myself and others.

I also just wanted to let you guys know I won't be joining you at Riverside as i joked about last semester..i got my scholarship back!

Selah.

dearest ones, this is Heather and Michael Petermann, your long lost buddies from Grand Lake. We have been praying for you so much since we heard the news. We have been begging the Lord to guard your hearts so that you would know and believe and hear his goodness, his truth. We can not even begin to imagine the pain in the depths of your souls, and yet reading this blog i can see your hope. You two are an amazing example of trusting our Lord. You are wonderful, good, fun, loving, faithful people. We are so proud of you, and who you are.

are hearths are aching with you.
