To Wisconsin and Back
Well, we did it. We survived our first major trip with Silas. We flew to Chicago with a layover in Phoenix and back again. We prayed that Silas would travel well and the Lord answered our prayer. We didn't really even hear a peep out of him the entire way there or the entire way back.
From Chicago he got to head deep into the land of cheese, Wisconsin. He met many of his relatives for the first time and got to stay with Nana and Papa for a week. While there he learned how to roll from his stomach to his back... got to enjoy his first experience with constipation... developed his lungs as he seems to be able to cry louder now... and practiced his smile a lot.

Such wonderful photos! What an adorable little guy Silas is! I enjoy seeing the pics of your family, too, Kristin. Grandpa and Grandma look pretty proud, and deservedly so!
You're a lot braver than I was with a newborn, to venture on such a trip! Hey, you're a lot braver than I am nowadays, too. ;-)
Thanks for sharing the pics!
so sweet you guys! you look great! love you!
Congratulations on getting to and from Wisconsin! You'll have to share some pointers as to what gear is necessary and what isn't, etc. We're planning a trip to Florida in March and I'm a bit nervous about getting to and from. Thanks for the updates. Take care and keep in touch!
silas was a great traveler... i am not so sure that he will always be that way, but this time he was. we left the stroller and carseat at home and just took a couple of slings with us. we carried him around in the sling and he slept the entire way. we made sure to feed him while going up and down in the plane and whatever we did seemed to work... either that or it was just God's grace on a couple of clueless parents.
Medical malpractice or medication errors (med mal) isn't within the exclusive domain of just doctors. A background/ felony check is also done. When looking for the next place for your loved one to live, it's very important, if possible to take with you the person who is moving on those visits. Your final senior semester will offer you the opportunity to select a specialized area of practice. Gentlemen might like aftershave.
